Terms for English teaching services
Effective November 5, 2026. These plain-language terms apply when Sarah Alkuda and a client agree in writing to a paid service. A fit call alone does not create a client relationship, reserve a lesson, or set a price.
What Sarah provides
Sarah provides English-language teaching for professional communication. Lessons may use sanitized examples of meetings, presentations, emails, and workplace conversations. Sarah does not provide legal, medical, engineering, financial, immigration, translation, therapy, job-placement, or other licensed professional advice.
Scope, fees, and payment
The scope, format, fee, and payment schedule for a service will be stated in a written proposal, booking confirmation, or invoice before paid services begin. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, payment is due before the applicable session or package begins. No price shown in a conversation applies until Sarah confirms it in writing.
Rescheduling, cancellations, and no-shows
For paid sessions, please request a change at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Sarah may charge 50% of the scheduled-session fee for a cancellation or rescheduling request received with less than 12 hours' notice, or when a client does not attend. If a client has not arrived or contacted Sarah within 15 minutes of the start time, the session may be treated as a no-show.
Sarah understands that real emergencies happen. She may waive or reduce a fee for a compelling circumstance at her discretion. A free fit call carries no fee, but clients should cancel or reschedule as soon as they can so that time can be offered to someone else.
Materials and confidentiality
Bring only information you are permitted to share. Use made-up or sanitized examples instead of confidential company, customer, patient, security, source-code, financial, legal, or personal information. Sarah will use material shared for the agreed teaching purpose and will not use it for marketing or testimonials without separate written permission.
Results
English progress depends on starting level, attendance, practice, goals, and real-world opportunities to use the language. Sarah does not guarantee fluency, employment, promotion, visa, academic, business, or other results.
Recording and AI tools
Sessions are not recorded unless every participant separately chooses to opt in. Any future recording consent will identify the device and provider, what is processed, why, who can access it, how long it is kept, whether information leaves the device, and how consent can be withdrawn. A no-recording lesson option will always be available.
Changes and questions
Sarah may update these terms for future services. The terms confirmed with an existing client remain in effect for that agreed service unless both sides agree in writing to a change. To ask a question or request a copy of these terms, reply to your booking confirmation.
For employer-paid team programs, scope, participant limits, privacy, payment, and any on-site arrangements require a separate written agreement.
